You can totally do this!!!!  I believe in you!

I lost just over 10 pounds in about 8 weeks.  If you really have the drive and determination, it's definitely an achievable goal.

Good luck!

By my calc, that's about 2 lbs a week.

You can do that sleep walking on a treadmill if you want.

Do the calorie math and measure your food and you could lose three a week without any hardship if you hit the treadmill or bike trainer or pool hard.

You sound like my twin. I'm at 220, up 15 pounds from August and would like to get under 200 for the start of this tri/run season. I'm starting a weight in Wednesday thread. I need some type of accountability and support.

I have a similar goal. I would like to lose 20-25 lbs by May 1st! When training, I struggle with eating enough to fuel my workouts and then eating a bit too much. When I try and cut back many calories, the quality of my workouts goes downhill. Any suggestions for keeping things in balance? I'm a newbie and officially start training on Jan 3rd.

I have the same problem of balancing calories and workout intensity.  I am going to try Matt Fitzgerald's Racing Weight, Quick Start Guide, to try and find the right balance.  My goal is to loose 25 pounds before the season gets going as well.
