Last night I went to the local running store to buy my favorite Zoot shoes.....sold out....but, they can order them....nope, not till Feb....ugh

So I went online and found a couple pair at Zappos.com and bought them at 8:51pm last night.

They showed up at my office at 9:30am this morning...HOLY CHIT

Now, I consider myself to be "in the know" about the latest and greatest stuff out there...but this blew my doors off. I didn't pay anything in shipping either.

I had to pay retail...but it allowed me to buy another 2 pair from Trisports and get my discount as these are back ordered and won't show up for a while.

Zappos is awesome!  My sister works there and I've been ordering from them for several years.  Free shipping, 365 day return policy (with free shipping back).  Awesome customer service, and a great company to work for. 

I won't buy my everyday shoes anywhere else.

Zappos is a great example of a company whose only product is customer service. They are simply amazing.

How do they keep people from buying 30 pairs of shoes and sending 29 back at the companies expense.? They are lightning fast and the inventory is huge. Best online retailer by far.

I think their solution is that almost nobody would do that. 

And people are much more likely to buy shoes online if they know they can send them back if they don't fit.

Why would anyone do that? So I will give Zappos an interest free loan for the 29 pair of shoes so they can sit there? Sounds like a win for Zappos!

+1 for Zappos......they will send you a replacement or return order before you even send back the original.  I have used them for years, and their prices are awesome!
