Subject: Wetsuit Sizing?
I'm looking at buying a Xterra sleeveless wetsuit but I'm stuck between two sizes, a small/long or a medium, I'm 5'7" tall and 160lbs which is between the two of these. Suggestions?

Depends on the brand, I think some are close to the advertising as far as size accuracy. Quintana Roo comes to mind there, at least from my experience. I now have an Ironman Stealth wetsuit, and I think they run a bit small. I had to exchange it for the next size up. I don't think you'll go wrong with the larger one, that would be my inclination!

I'd say go with the Medium.  You've got more room up and down in the weight category, as opposed to the Small Long.

Well...Would you rather have a wedgie, or a tummy tuck?

I would email Xterra or the manufactuer with your measurements and see what they say. Before I bought my desoto wetsuit, I emailed the manfactuer with chest, thigh, waist, hip, measurements and they got back to me with the size.

A wetsuit fitting to me is like bike fitting. It's got to be right on the mark.

I just purchased an Xterra sleeveless. I would highly advise you to call Xterra directly. This is what I did and then purchased the suit from trisports.com. The Xterra foks are very friendly and will be glad to help find you the right size.

Another good thing about Trisports.com is they let you "test drive" their wetsuits in water...GASP...imagine that.  They give you 30 days and only restrictions are no salt water and not using any bodyglide or lubes.  Sooo, I ordered two for me and two for my wife so we could test/compare them in the pool and keep the ones that fit best.  Make sure if you do this that you rinse them really well due to the chlorine and let them totally DRY before repacking and returning for your refund.  Trisports' policy was the best I could find...better than direct from manufacturers in most cases.  Ended up going for the Ironman over the Orca...wife hasn't tested hers yet.

What about the shipping expenses? Do they pay for you to ship it back?
