Just found this website.  Not sure how accurate it is or how or where they take their measurements.

54 today is promising since it will warm up quite a bit with just a few days of sunny weather.

Went for a swim today. I have no idea what the actual temp is, some boaters said 52. I had on my wetsuit and 2 normal latex caps. When I first got in it was freezing. Once I started swimming I was having some real issues with how frozen my face was. After about 5 minutes I'd say my face became slightly adjusted and I was able to swim. Really for me the only problem is going to be the initial frozen face. I didn't have booties or a thermal cap or anything and the rest of my extremities weren't too bad.

Weather forecast for Saturday looking good! Upper 70s, not much wind. I know, it's still a week away, but I'm going with it!

Gear is loaded in the car........... BOISE here I come. You've been the center of my world for nearly a year. Surprisingly I'm more excited than nervous (I'm sure that won't last long... the drive from Logan to Boise will give me plenty of time to build up nerves).

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE........ If you see a long-haired hippee-looking dude (bib# 1124), who seems a bit overwhelmed, remind him to just relax and have fun.

Best of luck to everyone tomorrow. I'm already shivering about the swim but decided that I can do it and have accepted the pain. Now just to get past it.

Will there be a 2012 thread for Boise soon?  For some reason it won't let me start one...
