Happy New Year everyone.  12/31/2010 I weighed in at 10lbs over where I was after my HIM in July.  My goal is to drop that and 5 more.  One pound a week is attainable!  Anyone else want to try with me?

I'm in...

Every year I seem to put on 10-15 pounds from September to January. It is time to start taking it off.

I would like to join as well. Should be racing around 180 lbs, last week I was 207 lbs, weighed in this morning at 200.5, so I have about 15 - 20 lbs or more to go. I have a cruise to S. America (Amazon) in mid March so that is my goal timeframe.

Cool everyone.  Lets do Weds as weigh day.  Jan 5 will then be the official baseline weigh in.

I'm in.  This off season is ending a bit heavier than usual so I'll need more than 15 weeks but count me in.

I'll bite...Yikes, I mean won't bite.  I'm 166-168ish and could stand to drop 15-20 before the serious training begins.  --mike

Count me in too!  Was 160 this morning (yikes!).  Would love to be down under 150 towards 145 - its been 5 years since I've been that low.  I'm up for a challenge though, so 145 it is!

I'm in!  I've been hovering around 172-174.  Could definitely stand to lose 15lbs.

I like the sound of this. I am at about 215. I would like to get back to 200 (or even lower).
How often will we do weigh in?

you people make me sick!!  i wish I knew what it was like to weight less than 200#.  I'll do this, but in parallel because the scales are not nice to me at all.  I can only usually tell weight loss by my clothes fitting better.

Totally know the feeling. In 2007, I was at my heaviest around 240. Never imagined getting under 200...but I did and so can you Good luck.

Ohh!  I want in too!  I actually have about 30lbs to lose, but 15 would be a good start! (and I lose very slowly, so 1 lbs/week is quite aggressive for me)

someone above mentioned today is weigh in, so:

Jan 5: 166.7

Starting Weight Jan 5- 212.5 BF 17.7 % (self measured with Calipers).

So, what kind of plan is everyone using for weight loss?
I am tracking my food and workouts on BT (have been for about a year). I am toying with the idea of using a new diet plan, but for now, just trying to get back to healthy eating on a daily basis with a goal of 400-600 calorie deficit ( about 300 calorie deficit from food and 300 calories of working out). Days I go longer, I will eat more.

I use myfitnesspal.com to track my nutrition as it's a littler friendlier & easier than the one here.  I just try to have a balanced diet, keeping my splits in the 55% / 15% / 30% for carbs, fat, and protein.
