There's not a lot of open straight aways. The sand in the corners and Wrightsville (assuming it is still crumbling) are worse than the speed bumps. Being slow, I kind of liked the course because my speed was not affected much, but the faster people probably were.

There are several speed humps and two or three speed bumps (10+). To me the humps are not an issue however the bumps (moslty on Price Rd) are rough. Try to stay to the far right and they are less intrusive.

Price Rd is currently under construction. I assume Set-up will have to create a new route. It is completely unpassable on a bike. Keep alert for a new bike route for race day.

I keep seeing the same map for the bike course.  What changes have been made?

You mean they aren't going to remove the speed bumps specifically for the race?  That's what they did for us at IM Cozumel.  I thought it was pretty cool that they thought of us- I had never seen that before.  And then the day after the race workers were building them and putting them back in    Funny...

There is a turn onto Price Rd that Set up is gonna take out.  Now there will be a long straightaway.  It reduces the lenth to 9.5 miles.  I think Set Up originally put in the turn onto Price to make the bike length an even 10 miles.

Well that's good!  I have a sore knee and it only bothers me when I ride so the shorter the better.  Thanks.  And it is a good idea to remove all of the speed bumps and humps.  I'll donate to that cause!
