Sable(dark) and Ziva(white) both are German Shepard

Ziva is my friends and former roommate, she was my jogging buddy. Sable and I moved for a coaching job so no longer trot around with them both.

It seems my transition bag has a resident in it now. This is where she spent the entire weekend when she wasn't sleeping on my legs.

(edit) Oh, if you wanna be nosy and see what's on the shelf behind her:

Noelle, sleeping on the pillow because the bed's just not soft enough.

And another of Lorenzo just because he's so darn cute. You can see the milky/cloudy spot on his eye; that's left over from when he was a feral 4 week old kitten with a very nasty virus. Now he's a healthy, 6 year old, apple of my eye.

< Sam the dog.  She used to run and swim with me but she has blown out both ACLs and is feeling her age, 12.

Finally captured Molly. She always moves when she sees the camera; this time she's sitting across my belly and let me snap a photo.

She's my middle child but you'd think she ran the place.

Lorenzo, sweetest boy evah.

My cat totally does this - loves to have her paws on something. I had no idea other cats did that! Then again, she's my 1st cat so everything she does is novel.

Here are our girls:

Shanti, the border collie mix, has the swim and run down (see pics) but prefers to coach the bike leg by snapping at pedals and wheels to encourage speed and bike-handling skills.

Cricket (a.k.a. Hoot for obvious reasons) prefers to keep the home fires burning, or at least overseen. Yes, she's really sitting on top of the closet doors. And no, Shanti didn't chase her up there, despite what she might have you think.

Hello

Here is Buddy sleeping under my desk at work.   Buddy is the 1 eyed Yorkie we adopted from the LowCountry Animal rescue back in Dec 2010.  He comes to work everyday with me.  One perk I get for being the boss.

Here is Buddy riding in my truck.

tayjay - 2011-01-12 4:12 PM Had an unfortunate year... I always have to post my baby Rhine who was killed by a car that jumped the curb and hit him in the boulevard at 3.5 years old on Oct 13th. A lot of people have seen me post about him but I miss him so much and still feel like hes part of my life. He was my first weim or "furchild" as I call them because they are like children.

breaks my heart. i had a weim named tucker that was my first furry child. had to put him down after he developed a brain tumor. he was my baby though. i miss him every day
