Cute dogs!!  Gah, I have puppy-fever.  You know, how some women get "baby fever"?  That's me, but I want a dog instead of another kid, haha.  Seems like everytime I turn on the TV the darn ASPCA commercials are on!  Alas, I've told myself no dog until I finish school (this year) and kidlet #2 is potty trained (hopefully by fall).  Then I can add another member to our family and continue cleaning up someone's poop UndecidedWink

He also swims much better then I do.  If he could ride a bike I am sure he would podium.

Here are my babies...Mariah (15 years old Miniature Schnauzer) and Sandi Sandihuela (almost 4 years old Mix Lab)

Mariah is an inside dog...but...she does stay out when we are out...she is a very healthy and active girl for her age...

Sandi is an outside dog, very happy, mellow and lazy one...but...she loves to go for her usual 1 mile walk every afternoon...but...She moves in slow motion...LOL  I will start to work with her...at least to run 1 to 2 miles daily...

But....Mariah usually runs 5k, 10k, HM, Full Marathons, UltraMarathons...in between the Porch area and the fence...waiting for us...the distance varies depending for how long We are out...LOL

My guy on the right up there was born to run too.   Border collie/whippet.  Leaves every dog in the dust when off leash and just never gets tired.  My brother just ran 8 6min miles with him and said he just wanted to keep going.

Here's Molly,  my little old lady up top. The bottom two are my parents' new puppy, Okemo (9 months)... he's mine as soon as I can steal him.

This is my papillon JackJack.  He's fully grown at 5 pounds, his ears will just bigger.  He can run like the wind, but he is too nosey to take with me.  The moment he sees some one else, he wants to go socialize with them.

This is Maggie.  She slobbers too much and overheats quickly so she's not a good choice for a running partner. She's good for about a 5K in winter, though.

And this is Charlie.  He was born with bad hips, so no distance running for him (besides the fact that he's even slower than I am!):

We are in the market for dog #3, so I'm hopeful for a future running partner.

That made me crack up!

Here's my Dexter.  Great running partner ... so long as there are no squirrels around.  He's young & fun and crazy and I love him despite his poor manners (he's a resuce, we're working on it)

I outrun her if I push it but still take her pretty much all the time, it makes her too happy to run for me to leave her at home. She's getting faster anyway.

This is our first born, Sage. The is great on hikes, as she can pull me up hills... bad on runs, as she likes to stop and sniff!

Here's one of my former running partners, Ellie. She's still around, but 14 and seriously arthritic. Her BFF, Josey, died last year. They were my favorite trail-running partners. I still miss Josey all the time, and Ellie sometimes joins me on my trail, but really she just noses around the leaves and flops down in the shade, panting at me as I go by...

So adorable!  She reminds me of my former running partner in her younger days.  Here she is after running 'retirement' at ~12:

This is Mac, my husbands waterfowl buddie. He carries his food bowl everywhere trying to convince anyone and everyone that he is starving . Had has had a bad elbow for a long time so he has never been able to run with me but he LOVES to swim!

I grew up with a boxer and would love to have another one...or a border collie.

Everyone has such cute dogs here!

They're sniffers, not runners.
