It will be my first Oly; I just want to finish and finish without walking any.

I'm in but I'm not making any time predictions because I forgot how to get to the pool and think I left my bike there...

Missed sign up this year, but would definitely be interested in practice riding the course if or when someone is interested.

I'm in. If I can get rid of the knee issues that have been bugging me, it'll be my first tri. At least the injuries are helping me to work on improving my swimming. Hoping to find some ways to do OWS practice before then. Anybody know of good options in the area (I live in College Park, roughly)?

Starting around May I'm sure there will be posts here in the MD threads about swims out at Sandy Point. I'm planning to do a sprint tri down at Lake Anna, VA specifically so I know I'll have at least one OWS before Columbia.

Almost a month until race day.  Any estimates for time?

I'm hoping for a sub 3, for the first time.  Hoping to finally link a good swim, good bike and good run together.

This will be my first Oly, and I should have started with something less hilly, so my main goal is to finish, and to feel good.

I'd be really happy to finish under 3:30

Given my current fitness level 2:45 might be a little ambitious but I'm going to put it out there anyway.

I'm hoping for close to 3, but 3:15 is a more realistic goal.

I'd agree I rode the course on Sunday and tons of people out there.

I was one of the Sunday riders ... did the Triadelphia - Green Bridge - Linthicum loop twice for good measure but clearly I need to HTFU and do a full double loop .. and then run the 10k.  (I did the run curse on the Saturday and had the back neighbo(u)rhood to myself.)

Hey, I do feel like a slacker... I am training for IMLP and feel like I am behind due to our weather. I will be out in Columbia again this weekend. I am trying to do another long brick. I feel like I have been locked in my home on my trainer these past couple of months... But its a great feeling going to Columbia, it really is wakeup and gets you motivated if you have not been training hard during our beautiful spring, i think I have been on the bike only 4 times this year outdoors.
