thanks

a coworker of mine did IM Brazil through them. He said he was satisfied with it.  Its a little more expensive than doing it on your own but its also a lot easier.

If I was ever to travel for a race, this is the first place and only place I would check out. Ken Glah does a great shop taking the thinking/stress out of the equation.

I met a guy on the trail that did IM brazil and he started talking about Endurance Travel and he was very happy with them.
For what I have read and heard, they do not transport your bike but they take care of all the logistics after you arrive including practices. This guy also mentioned that another guy lost his bike with he airline and ET helped them with getting a loaner bike for the race.

Ken Glah provides a great service. I highly recommend it. The only other company I'm aware of is Tri Travel out of Australia. They do a lot of international races including Challenge Roth. I have friends who've used them for Western Australia and Challenge Roth and were very happy with them.

x2 on Tri Travel.  I had two friends use them when we all went to race IM Japan.  Even though I wasn't with their group I was invited along for all their events and got to party with the IM winners after the race.

I'm now using them for travel accomodations to IM Australia.  They hooked me up with the RD after the race sold out and helped get me a slot.  They are also helping me set up my week long vacation in Sydney after the race.

I would recommend Anthony Travel--who is associated with Ironman events and other endurance type events.

Typically, I don’t use travel agents—I tend to book my own reservations. Last year, I arrived at Kona, Hawaii for the Ironman and was greeted at the Airport by Kelly Lanter and one of her co-workers from Anthony Travel. They cheerfully greeted my tired family, provided travel directions, tips and recommendations and the key to the condo that we had rented.

We went to the condo and my wife started to cry. The condo (independently owned) was decorated “garage sale chic” and had not been cleaned in recent memory. We spent the night trying to make the most of a poor situation. Many of the appliances were broken including the all important coffee maker! In the morning my daughter grabbed a towel and a giant cockroach fell to the ground.

At that point I called Kelly at 8:00 am. By 8:30 they were at the condo and agreed that the arrangements were unacceptable. By 10:00 they had us placed in a new Condo! The new condo was so wonderful that my wife cried out of joy! In addition, they checked up on us multiple times throughout the week to ensure that the new arrangements were acceptable.

Not only did Kelly provide world class service, she rescued our vacation!

I just used them for IMAZ and would travel with them again.  Great people and easy to work with them!  When I arrived they were waiting for me at the airport, took me to/from the hotel and race site. They even did a grocery store trip!

I've chatted with many IM athletes at various race and places and those who have used Ken Glah for travel rave about his service. If you go to Brazil what is included is more than if you go to Europe. A IM guy who was at the training camp last week used Ken's service for Brazil and Germany.  He plans to do another IM in Europe next year.

I did IM Austria with Ken Glah a couple of years ago and he did a great job ! I really thought they did a great job in every part of the trip.

On the other side, I travelled with Premium Plus Sports Travel to IM France this past year and it was a horrible experience. Note that I would have travelled with Ken Glah, but he didn't have that race on the calendar. Run away from Premium Plus Sports travel if you are considering them. Terrible, terrible. I felt like I got scammed on this deal.

Again - Endurance Sports Travel did a great job for me - good accomodations, thorough course tour, activities for the family, and great transportation. It was great to travel with the group and meet so many interesting people.
