I know it a Quintana Roo but what kind.  I'm wanting to buy it just wanting to know a little more about it.

I'm going to take an educated guess and say it's a QR Kilo- maybe a 2001 or even older? It's hard to tell, but it looks like one of the shifters is on backwards? It's bent back almost 180 degrees.

+1 on the Kilo.

With th cables all over there is something funky going on there.

Definitely looks like a Kilo, but I would guess it's late 90's... (looks like a quill to me...).

Used to be that the QR site had links to previous year bikes (usually back 5-7 years or so), but it appears that's gone now. So I'll have to go with the QR Kilo.

Nothing wrong with the shifters, some people just prefer to have them set up like that. Lots of extra cable there, though. It's either got a quill stem or a LOT of spacers. If that's a quill stem, likely the bike is late 90's.

Nothing wrong with any of that. The bike is designed around a fairly steep set-up, which *I* like. YMMV.
