Subject: App for training?
I'm aiming for my first spring tri in June. Checklists, plans, etc., are just the thing I need to do most things well. I also use iPhone apps for a lot of stuff in life.

Is there an app that stands head and shoulders above the rest for training?

The BT V1 iPhone app was recently submitted to Apple, it'll be a free app.  Just for logging right now but will be expanding with V2.  Worth checking out if BT will be the main training site for you.

What do you want the app to do? Do you want to bring the phone with you during training? What stats do you want to track?

I've used mapmyrun(ride) and runkeeper. Both are good.  Depends if you want to log your training somewhere in particular. I prefer mapmyrun because that's where I've been logging my sessions.  When you finish it automatically updates your training logs online.

Thank you for the suggestions. It seems runkeeper is tops among people who responded here.
