When is it?  Forgive my laziness at not wanting to look it up.  My son goes to UCSD and it would be fun to do it with him, if there's still enough time left for him to train.

It's on Feb 20. Google Tritonman, they are nearly sold out.

Woohoo! As of now there's no rain in the forecast!

Bring your smokes or mirrors. If there isn't cloud cover, the swim is straight into the sun!

Per Accuweather, 19mph wind from the SSW! 2.19" of rain on the way. Showers at 6am, rain at 9am.

The bay is going to feel like a warm bath compared to everything else.

Gotta love CA this time of year!

Just read your race report.  Great job hunting down that rabbit and making your way to the podium!

Thanks!

I've been concentrating on running and it paid off. One of the coolest things was, cheering for my old school also paid off. I frequently cheer on the Cal Poly athletes, and when I was ready to make my final move, there was a girl from Poly in front of me chasing a competitor from one of the UC schools. As I started my sprint I said, "let's do this Poly." The mini-drama happened behind me, but I could tell from the crowd noise that my favorite won the sprint.

As a still slow but improving runner, it felt great to feel strong at the end.
