For dusk / dawn rides I do.  Bar tops for the front, and seat stay for the back.  I've only got 'em on the roadie since I don't ride the tri bike in the dark.

Front, back, and in my handlebars. I use them obviously at dusk, but also if it's flat light out, cloudy, etc.  I clip the front one at the tip of my tri bars.  The rear on my seat stem, the handlebar lights are those that stick into the ends of the drops.

I ride at 5:30am during the week through winter and have twin Cateye's mounted on front handlebars that are good for about an hour.  I mount a rear light just below the seat in the back that flashes and one off my helmet in the back also.

I run the Planet Bike set seen here:  http://ecom1.planetbike.com/3047.html

The Superflash on the back would be tough to miss.  I also have a Firefly Supernova (http://www.roadid.com/Common/Catalog.aspx?C=Firefly) ordered from RoadID, which is nearly as bright as the Superflash.  I have only used the FireFly while running, but will probably attach it to the back of my helmet when riding in the dark.

Light n Motion on the front (handle bar), cateyes on the seat stays and a planet bike on the back of whatever bag I've got on my bike (trunk, under seat bag, etc).  This is all on my rain/touring bike only.  I don't ride my tri bike or my nice road bike in the dark/rain.

I do always carry a planet bike superflash light for the rear though, no matter what bike I'm on.  I'll turn it on for rain, fog or even shady winding decents where I figure extra visiblity is a good thing.

Hello, I'm a Fred.  But I'm talking about my commuter bike so it's ok, right?

Fenix L2D or a P7 ont he handlebars (depending on what is charged up)
2 PB SF on rear of trailer (when pulling kid to daycare)
1 PB SF on rear rack (when trailer is dropped off at daycare)
2 strings of LED battery-powered Christmas lights wrapped around top tube when it's dark out.

On my more racey bike,
Fenix L2D or a P7 ont he handlebars (depending on what is charged up)
2 PD SF on rear

I use a Cateye front and rear combination. Front attaches to the handlebar and the rear is supposed to go on the seat post, but doesn't fit the aero post, so I attach it to the under seat bag.  I mostly use it for late afternoon evening rides when it is getting dark or on a grey day where I need some extra visibility. In those circumstances it works pretty well. I don't ride it in the actual dark in early a.m. or after nightfall so I can't tell you about that kind of visibility.

Dawn/dusk/cloudy I use PB Superflash clipped to my seatbag.  Dusk or dark my headlights are two DiNotte 200's- 1 on bar & 1 on helmet.  Setup works pretty well with rechargeable AA battery packs.
