Comments: Never train for the swim. I'm amazed at how many do that still have trouble with the swim. I guess I'm fortunate that the water doesn't scare me ( I do respect it) and I've never been close to a paninc attack. Did my typical outside start and made decent time. I do 13 to 15 freestyle, then roll on my back and kick a little with my feet (little kicks) and do an under water paddle with my arms. It works for now based on my extensive traing.....ha! What would you do differently?: Train Transition 1
Comments: Same deal. Need to rubber band the shoes and get a tri suit. My shirt sticks to my wet body all the time, even when I dry off. What would you do differently?: Just what I said. Bike
Comments: I really started to feel bad here. Very disappointed in my performance. With no hockey in the Summer and no training for at least a month I was toast. All work and no play really got me here. I wanted to quit after the bike. What would you do differently?: Train Transition 2

Warm down: Kept from throwing up. Drank gatorade and waited for the wife to come through the chute. What limited your ability to perform faster: Lack of training......as in zippo. Last updated: 2011-02-01 12:00 AM

Ate my bagel and PB. Drank water. Parked the car about 1 mile from the venue. My wife and I rode the bikes ther as opposed to taking the bus. Got transition set up and was ready.
I was really not prepared for this one. I started a new job mid July and had done zero training since. Really felt "off" that morning.
Jumping jacks and stretch out. Water was warm so no problem.
