Since I started running in high school...I've always been told as long as there is no pain involved then you're ok. mostly my knees, toes, neck, back, fingers, wrists sometimes...Wait thats almost everything.

It's not the years, it's the mileage my friend

I make noise every day when I get out of bed.  Always feels better afterwards though.

Pretty commonly, my joints make popping/cracking noises.  Most commonly, are my knees, ankles, wrists and back.  it is never accompanied by pain.  I was just wondering if anyone else's joints are as 'vocal' as mine.  it is not all the time, but it is quite frequent.

Ah yeah. Right shoulder pops. Back pops. Right knee pops. Right ankle pops.

Just how it is.

I don't blame it on age. I know my shoulders have always popped after the swimming I did in HS. My newest popping started after my last bike wreck... maybe. Ha!

A snap or pop sounds kind of nice.  I've had my ACL repaired twice, my knee sounds like someone rolling thier fist over a bag of chips

Aside from my back, neck, ankles, wrists, hips and elbows (which I have to actively pop) my knees crackle when going up and down stairs. I can also actively pop them over and over at any time with just a little twist, all day and night if I want. They've been this way since I was in my low teens. It's never caused any problems and my bone doc and chiro friends tell me if it doesn't cause pain, then there's nothing to worry about.

My ankles crack often. Sometimes I'll spend an entire day with my left ankle cracking every step. I don't even really notice it anymore until someone asks if I'm okay.

Hmm... nope, I can't say that my body does that?

Krispety krunchety peanut buttery ...

and Rice Krispies, too.

I also actively pop my neck and jaw--so loudly it does make people jump and shudder. They're afraid I'm breaking my neck ...
