At Rocky racoon 100 miler this past weekend.   Just imagine the pace for Ian Sharman...  7:38 minute miles for 100 miles ...   that is insane..   I guess his actual pace was faster since he had to stop to eat and stuff like that...

  1. Ian Sharman – 12:44:33
  2. Anton Krupicka – 13:18:52
  3. Hal Koerner – 13:26:19
  4. Karl Meltzer – 14:27:20
  5. Liza Howard – 15:33:09

That's amazing. I can barely average that for a 5K on the road.

That is sick/mad. I don't know if I could run that fast for one mile running down hill with a tailwind. wow.

Mercy!  And I was just wondering how people stay awake long enough to cover 100 miles.  I guess if you can run THAT fast, it is not an issue!

At that pace he'd cover 140.6miles in 17 hours and 53minutes... and wouldn't need a bike to do it.
