frame, c02, mini, none?

Trying to get ideas.  I pretty much love the frame pump even though it is old school.  Currently it attaches to the seat tube but gotta get rid of it so i can make room for a 2nd bottle holder for 70.3 training.  trying to figure out my options. leaning towards a longer frame pump that runs along the top tube but wanted to see what everyone else does for ideas.

I have a Silca track pump for the house, and a Blackburn Airstick for the ride. I've never been disappointed with either one, and I've had the Silca for some 15 years or so.

I used to think Co2's were hard to get and you had to get it perfect or you were SOL...That's how my friends dad explained it to me when I first started out on the road bike. That was years ago and I've never had a flat on the road. I used one the other day while changing my front tire and it was remarkably easy (compared to what I was once told). My adapter is one of the simple ones that you press down to release the Co2 and inflate the tire, doesn't have a trigger like some fancier ones. As long as you practice at least once then you'll know what to expect when you're out on the roads needing to use it. My vote is Co2.

I don't remember the name... but it's swedish made.

really though, the JoeBlow Pro... it really is worth the money (can't believe I said that)
On the ride it's the "Chuck it" elite.  Just it and a co2 cartridge... compact, easy to use on the fly, not that expensive.

I carry a Blackburn Air Stik, and CO2 - with a Lezyne head. At home, I have a Hurricane Essential floor pump. Love the floor pump, am happy with the CO2 head, am so-so about the Stik.

The advantage of the Air Stik is it's very small, and gets the job done of group rides, but it's a brutal effort to get anything like 100psi out of it. I keep mine in a seat bag, and you can also mount with a frame bracket. Even though I've gone to CO2, I still use the Stik to puff up the tubes, double check tire seating, and diagnose punctured tubes. I must have used it 50 times to help other riders to avoid re-punctures and pinch flats before we commit a CO2.

If I upgraded, I'd get the Lezyne Road. It has a tube that stores inside the bore, is rated for 160 psi, and is a lot faster to use than the Blackburn Stik.

Based on a couple of the above posts the Blackburn airstick looks good and might me my need.  Does it matter if it is a airstick or airstick SL?

co2.  Blow into the nozzle to inflate the tube to be seated.  Once you have the tire and tube on the rim inflate with the co2 and be on your way.  No need for a mini or frame pump

I've got a Blackburn frame pump that I keep on my "regular ride." (which changes with the season).

I've got a Topeak mini-pump/CO2 that I carry for races.

I've got a Joe Blow floor pump.  Hate the head on it, but got a replacement airtube/head with a lever instead of the stupid twist-cap.
