Kokopelli Triathlon

I am looking to do a out of state triathlon with a driving distance from Las Vegas. 

I don't want to go by myself, so I'm wondering if anyone else will do this race and allow me to join them/you or you join me or whatever.

I'm thinking about leaving Friday night, stay at a CHEAP hotel (like Motel 6), Enjoy Friday. Race Saturday, and come home on Sunday. Maybe even do a short recovery ride.

I would like to do the Olympic distance.
