I have been thinking about getting another bike fit. I have been making a lot of changes myself since my last fit two years ago. I know all bikes shops think they are the best. So who is very happy with there bike fitter? Are you comfortable in area for long rides?

Thanks,

Got mine a little while back at Trek Columbus. Ran about $160.  The guys name is Ryan, he's a triathlete, ran in collegiate nationals a few years back.  He knows his stuff, and he takes his time.  I really felt like I got my moneys worth with him and my comfort and postition is nealry flawless.  I recomend him, but he's the only fitter I've ever used.

Not sure where you are located, but there is wheelie fun in Lebanon.  They do a great job on biking fittings.

I recently had a fit at Tri-Tech Multisport in Columbus.  Christ is the person I worked with and he was great.  He made helpful form suggestions and explained everything he was doing along the reasoning behind it.  The fit was $150 ($100 could be applied toward a new bike purchase) and took about 3 hours.

This was my first bike fit, so I don't really have anything to compare it to and due to the weather I haven't gotten to take the new bike out on a long ride yet.Yell  Yes, it's killing me!!

Thanks everyone. Does anyone know if anyone in Ohio has the fancy system that used a computer and shows angles by using video analysis?

I believe roll: uses that system.  I haven't used it, but I was in their Polaris Parkway location the other day and they had a big computer in the center of the store for fits.  Might be worth a call to verify it is the one you are thinking about.  You can also check it out here:

there is a huge difference between a bike shop fit an a dynamic fit by a professional.

Bob at Wheelie Fun is great, has done 100o's for all types of riders- uses a very low tech approach that works very well

Pro Bikes Ltd (ken Nowakoski) is in Eastern Indiana and will travel to you with a hydraulic adjustable fit bike with Dartfish 2D and Retul 3d motion capture- has trained and fitted many national champions- very high tech approach

Thanks for the heads up about Ken and how the does his fittings. I spent the day with him on Sunday and got a bike fit. And yes it was all day and not your typical 2 hour fitting.

Great!-He is nothing if not thorough- kind of like a mad scientist. He has done road, time trial, sprint track, TT track and TT tandem fits for me over the past 15 years.

I heard he went to a bike shop in Richmond a few weeks ago and did several fits.

Come to one of the TT's to win a free fit as a door prize. www.colavitazipptt.com
