Morning all...good luck to any racers this weekend!

My first workout of the day will be to join the 7am search party heading back into the desert to search for our missing girl.

Later today:  about an hour on the trainer and some Insanity Upper Body Strength training.

Such a terrible situation. As a dad of two beautiful daughters I don't know what I would do in that situation. Prayers and positive thoughts to all involved.

8.2 mile run done. Weight training later today.

Planned on doing a little bit of everything today, but bad weather may foil this.  I hate being stuck in the house, hopefully the pool will stay open.

45 minutes on the bike at the beach.  Riding into the wind is no fun.  But since I don't have hills, the wind will have to do.  Also ran 3 miles.

10k run done.  For the first time in a long time, I had to take my hat and gloves off because it was too warm (+1C).  I'm really hoping this weather sticks around!!

64 miles on the bike with 5,530 feet of climbing in 4 hrs 11 minutes.

followed up with a T run - 21 minutes, 2.4 miles.

Got dehydrated on the bike so the last 8 miles were tough, but got home in time to get some water before it got too bad.  Great learning experience re: nutrition - just started using Ironman Restore in place of Perpetuem, and I think it might actually work (and be tolerable for my system!).

Happy training everyone!

Weather cleared - 2,800M swim workout and a 21 mile ride.  Winds are still awful here.
