Subject: HIM Custom 14 week
I just created a 14 week plan for a HIM.  I noticed that on week 2 there is a taper.  This seems very strange to me.  Should I just follow it or bypass the taper till the regular taper?

That shouldn't be there.  Recreate the plan and see if it is still there.  If so, take a screenshot and attach it here.

Week 2 is not a taper, but a recovery..this happens every 4 weeks up until the final 4 weeks of the taper/race part of the plan.  This plan with 3 build/1 recovery are 4 week blocks of this that repeat and we create the plan BACK from race day...that fact that you have 14 weeks is putting a 'recovery' week on week 2.  Nothing wrong with that.  If you had made a 12 week plan, 12/4 =3 would fit in 3 perfect 4 week blocks and the first recovery would be week 4.
