Pre-race routine:

Cliff bar about 30minutes before start with 1 bottle of water. Stayed in the gym to keep warm. Headed to the start with 10min to go.

Event warmup:

Kept warm..walking and a little stretching.

What would you do differently?:

Run more. Felt good though as this was my longest run since WDW marathon.

Post race

Warm down:

Walking and stretching. One very good apple and a bottle of water. Waited around for the awards, since they were giving them 5 deep in age groups. Little did I know there were 15 in front of me! Fast dudes out there.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Nothing. Decent time for me.

Event comments:

Good low key race, only $9 entry fee.

Official gun time was 1.18.43. Net time of 1.18.32 from my Garmin, it took 11 seconds to cross start after gun.
Course:	5miles out then back on the Little Miami bike trail. Started near the Yellow Springs Subway headed South. Garmin had about 234 ft elevation change - downhill from start to turnaround then back uphill. Very windy after the turn.
