Comments: I started this race of very slow. Nice and conservative. I have a 20k race next weekend and I didn't want to waste myself this weekend. At about mile 3.5 I summited the major climb and felt great. I picked up the pace and hammered out the last 10k. What would you do differently?: I would have brought eaten a few more carbs before the race. At about mile 9 I felt a slight bonk coming on. Post race
Warm down: Had some bagels, bannanas, muffins, and water. What limited your ability to perform faster: I dont know how much the slower start really hurt me. It kept me within myself and I slowly churned up the hills. Event comments: The only reason I said no on the volunteers was due to the aide station. There was one at mile 2 and mile 8. It would have been nice to have one in the middle after the long climb and ascent. However, it's a trail run. People should be carrying some water. I was so I had no issues. The post race staff was amazing and great! Last updated: 2011-03-13 12:00 AM

I woke up an hour late for the race as the time change screwed me up. My fault completley. I should have double checked my watch and cell phone timers.
No warm up. Got there in just enough time to register and use the bathroom before blast off.
