Subject: Canyon Lake
Does anyone have any recommendations for riding near Canyon Lake? I've found some routes on here and mapmyride.com, but I've read that traffic can be high on River Rd and 306.

I think there is a triathlon club in New Braunfels.  Maybe they can give you some ideas.

The river road is nice this time of year, every time I have ridden it, it's been relatively traffic free. If you want some more 'hilly' fun try Krueger Canyon Road and FM 1863 direction US 281 and around Hueco Springs road up toward Startzville along the south side of Canyon Lake.
