Comments:

Started in the back and just run what I could run. It's been a couple of years since I've really been able to train and race so it was slightly depressing to see the loss in speed and fitness but I'm excited to be doing some racing again.

What would you do differently?:

Get in better shape.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Slow-healing injuries, being out of shape and 10 pounds heavier than I was a couple of years ago.

Event comments:

First race in a new series called the Locomotive Race Series. The course is boring (a couple of laps around the mall) but flat and fast. Race organization was good.
