Awesome!  We're talking about getting the bikes out this weekend if it's nice.  Maybe we'll swing by Kensington.  I'll keep you posted.

Its been awhile since I have been to Kensington; is it pretty hilly? (like Holly rec.) Thinking of taking new bike out there as well.

Paul Ranke and I are pacing the last chance 1/2 marathon group at the Let's Move Festival of Races in Mt. Clemens on April 30th. We will be training for this doing 10 miles at a 17-18 min/mile ( yes, you read that right) pace, starting 9am at the east boat launch. 3 hours of walking. :/

gir1with1nose - 2011-03-15 2:16 PM I would, but I'm heading to Brighton for the trail run.

Quick Hijack:  Kimm, is the trail race worth the hour+ drive out there?  I need something to get me going for the Trail 1/2 May 1st->Hijack over

I've never done it, Chicken Dip.  What I can say is it will be beautiful weather and possibly muddy.  What trail isn't worth THAT?

PS:  I know several folks coming from your side of town to do it, so maybe it is worth that drive.

Closer to 8.5   That last .25 miles can be the longest 1/4 mile you'll run

Pretty sure SMOAK needs to rest for Sunday swimm, but I'm in...maybe less than a loop....weather dependant.

You could walk with Paul and I. We may need some Trixie-isms to keep us entertained for the turtle pace.

Smoak and I are NOT running. We will meet y'all for breakfast though?

We'll be at the usual place around 10:00 if you would like to join us. If you don't know the usual place, ask a regular.
