This is the last time I will start this thread.  I have decided the tri life is not for me.  Instead, I am taking up underwater basketweaving and professional chocolate tasting.

APRIL FOOLS!!!  Buahhahahahahahahaaaaaaaaa!Laughing

4:00am:  1:01/18.33miles on the trainer
5:15am:  P90X Ab Ripper X

Have fun with the day...I know I will!  I'm going in to my classroom early and I'm going to turn all  my student desks around facing the back wall, going to tell the kids that the school district has cancelled our spring break (which starts at 1:05 today!!!) and I'm sure I'll come up with more shenanigans!

Happy Friday!!!!!

Today my trainer comes in the mail so I will be an excited boy tonight and probably put some miles on that!!!  Great April Fools day ahead though no tricks planned

JBARWICK- You pretty much summed up my whole post except for the distance.

It was storming here all day and night so I woke up at 5:30 and ran 4 miles before work.  I too have a trainer coming today via UPS and can not wait to get to work on it.

Have fun with your April fools pranks. Sounds funny!

It is my daughters birthday today - she is 3! We are planning a day of shopping then out to lunch.

Oh, and I'm supposed to be training. Let's see, I think I have an hour bike ride to fit in.

Swam today with super results, dropping kids at school, car at the shop, drinking coffee, 1:20:00 bike ride on the tri bike (first time outdoors since last season) then back up to school to sub for half a day.

I guess I need to get the car picked up at some point as well.

It sure is nice to see a teacher who still cares about what she does! Thanks for what you do, and the attitude you bring to your students! You make a difference!

Oh yeah, 50 min jog tonight if leg holds up.

Awww...thanks!  That really made my day!  I do love my kids--I try to share some laughs with them everyday--even when they're driving me bonkers (do you remember you in 8th grade!  LOL!)

Rest day for me.  Struggling with it already.  But tomorrow I'm doing the April FOOLS (emphasis on FOOLS) swim workout.  It's 100 x 100 on the 1:40.  That's what you get when you join masters swim groups.

Great prank for your students Smile

"do you remember you in 8th grade!"

Yes, I do. My teachers loved and hated me. I was fairly smart, but I was also the class clown. Nothing mean or violent - I just made jokes during class. It was like, "You're a bright young man, Mike, why must you disrupt class like this?"

Ah, 8th grade English: zits, endlessly staring at the cute girls, and Beowulf. Of course, if I had a teacher with "booty and thighs" I'd stare at her, too!

That spring break joke - that's evil.

15mile bike ride then 3 mile run with my chocolate lab.

And I do remember the 8th grade. Miss those times alot, no bills, car payments, mortgage etc

I was the really quiet kid in the back who was really shy and did not say a word. Was heavily into punk rock with red mohawk and all. Guess thats why everyone looked at me funny!Laughing

Now I am a tri sports slut!

Hee heee...it was evil--they were in a panic and about ready to form a mass revolt.  I loved every minute of it.

I know exactly what kind of kid you were--those are always my favorite kind...those that are bright enough to get my jokes and deliver some right back.  I think I just said the exact same thing you quoted above to one of my students this week as a matter of fact!
