Pre-race routine:

Got up early and had toast with some jelly. Was a bit nervous and felt like I was going to vomit.

This wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be, spacing was good, at 150 yards, I let about 4 people pass.
What would you do differently?:

Swim faster???

I think it went pretty smoothly for my first time.
What would you do differently?:

Run faster from the swim to my stuff, and out of transition.

I decided to not take my bike computer and just ride how I felt. This kept me from pushing myself, but also gave me less to worry about and obsess over.
What would you do differently?:

Use my bike computer to keep my pace up.

I thought this went well for my first time, I did forget to put my hat on, and probably should have taken the time to body glide my left arch some.
What would you do differently?:

Remember hat, and lube up my shoes.

I ran, or shuffled, the whole way. I was just happy I didn't stop and walk any.

Push myself a little harder.

Pizza, hanging out, cheering in other competitors.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

I need to train more and more consitantly, but the change in weather from mid 80's on saturday to 40's on Sunday was a bit of a shock to the system.

Event comments:

I enjoyed the race and would do it again. Everyone was friendly and helpful, it was a great environment for my first time. If only the weather had been warmer.
