Top pic is our team.  Bottom pic is the female 50K winner.  Just wanted you to get a taste of the trail conditions.  The water wasn't nearly as bad as the miles and miles of deep mud.

Very cool Jayne.... But didn't you get a bit of chafing running 10 miles in jeans through mud and water?

.  It was deep, slippery, and there was no way to avoid it.

10-4. Awesome job. Next time try losing the jeans!

Jayne, I guess where this is where I differ from most people.  I think that looks AWESOME!

As for the mentor group being archived... Have no fear.  I think we will be around for a while!!

wow Jayne that is fantastic.

Hi everyone. Just here to wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. With the holdiay only a week away we are all more than likely thinking more about eating, drinking and having fun with family and friends than working out. That's OK we all need the downtime to be fully prepared to take on the challenges in 2012.
Just remember when you enjoying that second (or third) piece of cake :

Its not what you do between Christmas and New Years that counts. It's what you do between New Years and Christmas that counts.

Have a great holiday and see you next year.

AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!  It's archive time.  Holy cow where does the time go?  Well I certainly hope our esteemed leader is picking up the torch again.  You have all become wonderful friends and I would miss chatting w/ you over the weeks of training.

Even though friends and family look at Tony and I funny when we talk about our "online"friends".  I think the best part for us is we have a group who understands the ups and downs of training and competing while trying to fit it in around everyday life.  We don't have the option of a tri group in the area b/c of the kiddos so this is our tri family.

Thank you all - it is something I am most grateful for over the past few years.  :-)
