Comments:

My target was an 8:30 pace as I haven't been running much and haven't raced in a long time. I went out at a pace I thought was comfortable and just tried to hold on. I faded in the later miles but given my current conditioning that was to be expected.
What would you do differently?:

Lose weight and train more.

Warm down:

Drank a bottle of water and waited for Lisa to finish.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Weight and current conditioning.

Event comments:

Did not stay around for post race activities. Post race snacks were light though there was plenty of bottled water.
