Metroplex Sprint Triathlon : Official Thread

This is one of my favorite races of all time. Unfortunately we've got other plans that weekend and I have to miss it this year. Have fun.

wow! I had never seen this tri.. being a beginner, this looks like a good one for me.  I live in Austin, but my sister lives in FW so the trek won't be that bad. Plus, I'm moving to Dallas in August.. so it'd be nice to visit the area. I'm in as well

I'm in for Sat...a friend is doing her first tri at this one so I want to be in the chute with her But 3 weeks post IM, I am sure I will be regretting it! Love this race, one of my favs.

hmm...i've never seen "love" and "Jack" mentioned together in the same sentence, let alone next to each other...interesting!!  

I will gladly second that I love Jack's races.

ha! if only i was fast enough! though if the ladies get to go first like usual...you can give chase!

this whole ironman recovery thing kinda leaves a lack of 'pep' in my body...but looking forward to seeing everyone for some fun.

I'm in.  Watched Jack compete in the dam bike time trial on Friday (at least I think it was him).

Jacks races are great. He has a gruff exterior but I think that he is a softy inside and will do anything he can to help.

So, am I the only one that noticed that the transition map has a 1.2 mi swim course marked off?  For you IM people, I know that's no big deal.  But for some of us . . .

Sounds like this race is a fun one!   I am looking to get out there and have some fun since I am  in the middle of my ironman training and kind of getting the "burnout" feeling.  Maybe this race will give me some pep?

Yeah, it looked like they just had the prairieman map posted on the MST page, but no worries - it will only be 400m.
