The stupid shoes got mud in them and i couldn't get into my peddle as a result. It took me about 250 yards to get them on just right.

The bike ride was windy, but thank god the ran had stopped pre race. The rads were wet and still a little puddle ridden. The turns were a little slower than would be desired.
What would you do differently?:

Not a whole lot could be done differently. I plan to do a lot more work on the bike over the next few months to build up my speed though.

Uneventful T2 which is good to say the least. I had no problem getting out of my pedals and getting the bike racked.
What would you do differently?:

loosen up laces on running shoes so i can get in them easier.

This run went well after a little hiccup at the beginning where i have to stop and stretch once I left transition. Aside from that I made good time getting to the finish.
What would you do differently?:

Take a few moments to stretch before starting the run.

Warm down:

A little stretching here in there as I mingled around the crowd and took it all in at the finish line at my first race.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

weather conditions were a little off.
