all i can say is yikes.  It went live at 12:00 CST and everything I wanted filled up instantly.  I was camping the catcher or awards spot and before I could click on it they were all gone. 

everything around the finish line filled up instantly, but I did get in on what I think will be good volunteer spots.

Transition - Change Tent MALE Location : Monona Terrace 7:00AM - 11:00AM
Run Course Marshals - Mifflin & State @ Carroll Location 8:00PM - 11:45PM

Best I can tell the run course marshal spot is a few blocks from the finish line.  I'm really looking forward to this, and more importantly signing up for 2012 on Monday.  Laughing

I think it went up early becaus I checked at 10:30 and most of the other spots were gone

OK, this is weird.  Now everything i signed up for earlier is gone and they have all new stuff for 2011 and there's lots of stuff available.  I'm wondering if they didn't turn registration on until an hour or two late and I signed up for something old earlier.

So, now I'm signed up as a catcher and my wife is handing out awards.  hopefully this one sticks.

How do you know you got signed up?  I only ask because I have tried to sign up for a volunteer spot for the IMTX but have revived no conformation.  I sent an email to the Volunteer email address about this and got no response.

They have a nice volunteer website listing all the positions and shifts available and you pick the place/time you want to volunteer on a first come first serve basis.
