Total Time = 1h 18m 24s
Overall Rank = 124/536
Age Group = 40-44
Age Group Rank = 11/43
Pre-race routine:

Spaghetti dinner with chicken. I was working second shift till midnight. Get up at 3 am to drive. Ate banana, baked potato and have cup of coffee in the car while driving.
Event warmup:

I did couple laps in the pool, but have to wait my turn so long, so it was useless. I just did stretches on the side
Swim
  • 08m 30s
  • 437 yards
  • 01m 56s / 100 yards
Comments:

It was ok, but a little crowded, I had to look up to pass all the time
What would you do differently?:

Sign up to faster group to start earlier
Transition 1
  • 02m 42s
Comments:

I put a long sleeve jersey, but it stuck half way on my wet body
What would you do differently?:

Not sure, if I can do it faster if there is a rain
Bike
  • 42m 25s
  • 13.05 miles
  • 18.46 mile/hr
Comments:

My chain started to rub front derailleur, so I have 6 instead of 9 speeds :(((. But it was my fault, I did some minor adjustments and did not have a chance to check them.
Also, I had some tasty gels while riding. Why did I got water bottle???
What would you do differently?:

I would have at least 10 miles ride before race after all final bike adjustments. Don't need water if the temperature is about 45, gels are enough.
Transition 2
  • 01m 38s
Comments:

Nothing special, but some ppl were right on my spot where I had my stuff. They were reluctant to move away, and looked surprised. I also had to change my socks, because they were so wet.
I have covered my stuff with another towel, and it worked.
What would you do differently?:

may be move faster, or yell louder
Run
  • 23m 6s
  • 3.11 miles
  • 07m 26s  min/mile
Comments:

Too crowded. I had a hard time to pass. I had to step on the grass few times.
Post race
Warm down:

Put on my down jacket to warm me up, wipe off the bike, and run back to work. was working the rest of the day.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

I signed up for the bottom in the last 100, because I had no idea how I would do. It appeared, that I was faster than average in my group.
I think, if I would get to first hundred wave, I could do better.
