Simply put, does the Zipp 1080 come in a clincher?

On Zipp's website its not listed but I've seen them advertised online at other places(trisports.com, ironmanwheels.com, amazon.com).

Sure. I know up until 2010, a 1080 clincher was listed in their catalog. I'm wondering if they have pulled the 1080 clincher to swap everything over to a 1080 carbon clincher...

808 FC is faster than the 1080 clincher, so really no need for the "older" 1080 clincher...

they've done away with the 1080. the 808 fc is the fastest non disk wheel they have so no need to produce the 1080 anymore

JonCT - 2011-04-23 4:12 PM they've done away with the 1080. the 808 fc is the fastest non disk wheel they have so no need to produce the 1080 anymore

That explains why I could only reserve the 808 clincher from Race Day Wheels...
