Eric,

Did the Muncie race last year and loved it, partially because of where I stayed. The Harris Chapel hosts athletes for $15 for the night. Plus provided food and water night before race and morning of race. I didn't see it on the race website since it's changed to an Ironman 70.3 venue. Last year they had an email address to email the chapel coordinator for space. Very easy, bout 50 athletes total, provided cots, and 5 min drive from race.

They had a separate packet pick up at the expo. If they are hosting again I would 100% do the chapel again. Just can't find where you reserve a spot.

Good luck and happy training!

I think camping is still an option....a lot of people like that for the atmosphere.

Eric, I'm camping and I Think Dave Eagle was thinking about it, too. Most of our group is doing this race this year. We should get together and try to reserve some spots close to one another. I'm riding with David Tri's and not sure of the exact location of the campgrounds. Maybe he or his wife, Alice (ahohl) can reply and give you some more info.

I have a hotel room reserved, but can't wait to see everyone there.  We will need to make plans for meeting at the expo.
