Aaron was the swim course 500 or closer to 550?  Just curious as I've seen race reports with it at five forty something.

Race reports on BT are in Yard, the swim course was suppose to be 500 meters.  So the default on the RR is 546 yards.

532 is what I was told. The bike was 13.46 and from what Gary said it's now adjusted. The run was 3.68 and is accurate on the results as well. You all have been training and it shows!

Any chance we can swap out our shirts for different sizes?  My women's medium looked small when I claimed it and the volunteer let we swap it for a women's large...even that one was small.  I am average height and weight, but it's giving me a complex, lol!

Mine is really small too.  I usually take the men's shirts at events like these.  I should have this time. :-(

I got a women's large and it will be OK but one of my female friends ordered a men's small and they didn't have any.

It's hard because you don't know ahead of time how the shirts are going to be cut. Knowing they do mens and women's I went ahead and ordered a large for next year. I felt bad for some though because there were not XLs when I got to the table.

Yeh, I had ordered an extra large.  Oh well, I may give it to my younger, smaller, sister.

Here's the deal on the shirts.... We had the right amount and right sizes. Problem is that even with a list and asking people their sizes some convinced the volunteers to go against what they were supposed to do. No exchanges were supposed to happen until after but I fear that some of them may have snuck in exchanges. I don't know for sure. Some of you that have the right sizes but they don't fit... I'm sorry but there's not a lot we can do. I was told they fit pretty regularly. I think some of you ordered them as unisex even though it said male or female sizes. No matter what happened I'm sorry and if you'd like to see what is left you can stop by Houston Cycling Centers Northwest location (290/Jones) and exchange but you MUST swap the one you have (clean and unworn) for the one you'd like. You will not be permitted to take one unless you have one to swap. You'll have to look through the box I left and find the one you need. I don't know what's left, no promises. Thanks!

Aaron,

I forgot to pickup my 100 Club bag after the race.  Is there any other way to pick it up?  Or do we have until Houston to get them?

I agree, Aaron. I think people took the wrong sizes. I ordered a medium and when I got there I was told they were out. They, eventually, found a box with a few med left in them. Not sure how to fix that unless the volunteers have a list and ask everyone's name which might take too long.

It's not difficult or time consuming to resolve shirt issues in the future. Put the shirt size on the athlete's wrist band or a perforated "coupon" on the bib. Must turn it in to redeem proper shirt size.

Hi All,

First things first, I want to thank Aaron and everyone at Onurleft (especially volunteers). The event was organized very well based upon the size of the field.

I'm a triathlon newbie, and if this event was any example of triathlons, I'm definitely going to do more. The clinic the week before and the organization on all levels kept me from having to worry and I was able to just concentrate on my race.

It was a privilege to race with you guys and I look forward to seeing you all again.

Thanks,

Eric
