Subject: OWS near Valhalla/White Plains NY
I recently moved to Valhalla, NY (by Westchester Medical Center) and I know there are quite a few small bodies of water in the area. I heard swimming is not allowed at the reservoirs close by. Anyone have any ideas on nearby places where I can do my open water swimming now that the weather is getting warmer?

Rye, ny about 20 minutes from you. In the LI sound. Nice swim along the jetty. 

They hold the westchester triathlon there and I think there are some group swims

as the summer moves along
