i think i went out too fast. my foot injury started hurting aroun 5 miles but was manageable. the real killer was my lack of fitness from missed training due to the injury

Great run!  Quick time as well.  I can keep a 7:30 pace for a long distance but getting that to 7:01 will take a while!

had i been able to train through the fall and winter i would have had a 1:25ish goal -I don't have any other halfs planned this year but i do have a HIM in Oct that I plan to run a sub 1:35 after the swim and bike.  next Feb I will do LCFB and shoot for a sub 1:25.
