Yeah, I know, it's 8 months away, but I'm already thinking about it and setting up my training schedule (off-season, what's that?).

I had such a great time last year, even though I practically walked the run course.  It's such a party!

This year's goal: RUN the run course.

Anyone else interested in doing Wildflower next year?  Prior to this year's race, we set up two training weekends at Lake San Antonio and rented cabins (very cheap) which was nice.  Once in Oct, and once in Feb.  It was good to get out there a couple of times and ride and run the course, and to get a feel for where my training was lacking (at that point, it was WHAT training?).

You know I'm in!!! Injury free (knock on wood) and post IMAZ, I'm going for my PR!! And I'm definitely in for the training weekends (although I may need to bike the long course for prep for IMAZ). Who's bringing the wine and who's bringing Pit????

Ummm... I'll bring Pit, of course.  But I may need to buy a new set of cards.  Mine are thoroughly thrashed at this point. 

I think a weekend in late Oct or early Nov (I prefer Nov) would be great to kind of get a handle on what I need to work on over the winter.  And then another weekend in Feb or March to really fine-tune before the race. 

You know, it WILL be here sooner than you think!

I'll bring my PIT cards. They aren't the cool retro ones, but they'll do! Also, I have no bell. But between us, we should be able to handle it!!

I have a marathon on October 23rd, so if we could avoid that, that would be great! I'm excited about doing the course for once, instead of being done in by it!
