Took 45 seconds off my 1500 Swim PB tonight very happy.

Just recently I've been concentrating a lot on the length of my stroke and rotation, but drills get a bit tedious so tonight I went for a time trial.

My previous PB was 29:16 but tonight I finished in 28:31 .

Well happy!

Rich

Yay!

I had a breakthrough in my last swim as well (just got back).  It's a great feeling, isn't it!

Nice work!...keep it up!!

Last year before my first IM, my long swims (>3500 yards) were consistently paced at 2:00 minutes per 100 yards for roughly 5 months.  Then, all of a sudden, they dropped to 1:45 for the last month, which is what I ended up with on race day.  It's a great feeling, and for me, it got better: I didn't swim for the entire winter (and most of this year's spring) and got back in the water several weeks ago...right back at 2:00 per 100 yards.  However, I'm already down to 1:45 per 100 with five months left in training for this year's IM.

YAY for you!!  I have been seeing my endurance in the pool increase in the last few weeks..after months of hard work..It feels good to actually see progress. I am finally able to finish a full workout without getting gassed & cutting it short.

YAY!!
