Pre-race routine:

It was freezing! I stood around with everyone else trying to stay warm. It was misting and windy. Could have been worse.

I don't do warmups since high school cross country :)

Comments:

Told myself 9:30 miles would be fine based on me not running a ton lately and not running faster than 9:30 miles in a loooong time. Race started and I told myself to stop being such a wuss. I was pushing but did not feel like I was pushing beyond what I was capable of.

Warm down:

Walking to car.....shivering. Realized when I got home that I took 3rd place in my AG.....missed awards. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would place in the top 3 of my AG!

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Nothing

Cellcom events are always top notch. I can always count on a well run race.
