Pre-race routine:

showed up early enough not to stress over the parking. Good thing as a car overheated and I had to get out to push it out of the way

Event comments:

Warm soda was not good. Giving out dixie cups of water (not bottles) was not good. The hats from years past were way nicer SWAG than the pull string sacks this year.

Also different this year - no barricades and no pace signs.

The best part was the Amazing rendition of the Star Spangled Banner.
