I verified the wetsuit rule- I was correct.  It's in the Athlete Guide:

Yes, the kiddie pool icebaths a la Ironman Kansas were the highlight of the day.  Awesome race today- got to meet DragonBear too!

I'll add I enjoyed this as my 1st Tri event.  Despite thinking i was going to drown 8 minutes into the swim, riding past the Olympic turn around by a few blocks and running out of steam on the run - it was a fun event and will look forward to again next year.  Cheers to the volunteers.

Awesome race. Holly cow, they must have had the entire town as volunteers. I was impressed at all the help they had. Super well put together event. Most fun I have had in years, and this was my first tri. I will have to look close, but I am within seconds of PR'ing on each of the three sports. I had as much fun with the after party as I did the race. Can't wait till next year. It was also nice to meet mcgilmartin. I am thinking of getting a BT singlet for wearing pre/post events, as easy recognition. Thanks to all the volunteers, police, and ems. The ice baths were the best part. Of course a message always hits the spot too. Hope everyone had fun, this has potential to grow into a very special event for the city of Denver. OMG, those CDifferent folks sure were flying around the course. That was also an inspiration. I talked to several after the race, and all seemed to have a blast, and want to do it again. That really made me smile.

My Way Or The Tri Way next weeked. PM me if you are going to be there. I would like to meet the rest of you.

I thought it was a great race yesterday. Everything went pretty darn smooth being that it was the first time it was held. All the volunteers were awesome and it was a great atmosphere down at Mile High. I expect this race to go on for a number of years and continue to grow if it is run this well.

I know it's hard to get streets closed off but it would be real awesome if they could get some of the bike course to run downtown and make it a true Denver event, something that people would start lining up to cheer the racers along.

Now if I can just get faster.
