Subject: So if it is Plantar Faciitis? Then what

After reading the threads about how bad this condition is now what.

About 2 weeks ago, I was having a little pain/annoying feeling in my right heal.  I said "maybe time for a new pair of shoes", then this morning on my way out for a run, about a quarter mile from home, excruciating pain!  I had to walk back home.  If feels fine, when not walking.  I put ice on it this morning.  I have a call into my PT whom has been treating my ITband on the opposite side.

Test it out one more time?  or complete rest?

I will follow advice of previous threads w stretching, rolling/tennis ball/ice cold beer etc

Thanks

If you get it bad, you will not be considering running.  It hurts like he-doubletoothpicks.  It hurts the worse first thing in the morning, right when you start walking.  Id take a few weeks off untill you have no pain.  Not something to mess around with.
