BTer Eric is in with a very respectable first IM.  His run really dropped off in the second half but still amazing.  10:27:34

Exciting....video coverage isn't great.

Running on those curvy narrow parts seems interesting. I watched the pros for awhile and they tried to run as straight as possible and cut the curves if they could. I wonder what it is like when everyone is out on the run and there are big groups of people on those narrow sections. Much is wider.

My coach from '09 won his AG and put down a 4:50 bike split.

4:15 men's bike split and record for fastest women IM bike split at 4:4?...seems the pointy end of the field had fast bike splits.

Just saw Whizzzz on the live feed working the finish line.

Is there any update on Comet?  Is she okay?  Did she drop, or get pulled from the course?

The run was crazy hot and humid. I almost dropped out at mile 1. Never seen so many people walking (including pros) ever. Sufferfest out there but the crowds were really big which helped a lot. Thanks for all the kinds words! Projected slots were 11 a week ago, so I need to look up actual to see if I'm heading to kona.Got to meet a lot of BT'ers Thursday at the dinner. Good fun. Go BT'ers !
