This was my first metric century ever.  Longest ride to now was about 45 miles.  As others have said, Mountain Park was brutal.  Right leg started trying to cramp up at about mile 50, but I managed to hold it off and finished strong.  Total ride time was about 3:20, not counting the two rest stops.  I will definitely be back next year and maybe even be ready for the full 100 by then.
