How many are already signed up?  Wondering how the swim course changes will be as it seems the Oly and Half are swimming multiple loops, could be interesting....

I signed up -again- pre-course changes.

I'm a little disappointed.

Laps in the Mon river-REALLY?!

Mon county not fixing the rail trail slide-Up 6th street and up Mon blvd, down mon blvd and on the way back in up mon blvd and down onto 6th street. Viewing the coliseum will be nice and hopefully the downhill will be nice but-REALLY?!

New transition area-Weather permitting this'll be nice-I hope there isnt much congestion since its all on the same day, with laps in the river and muiltiple distances within the same transition area.

New run course-ah well basically the same-likely more shaded too.

This is a home (visit) race for me so I'm excited.

Best of luck to all racers, Thanks ahead of time to the volunteers, I'll talk and meet with anyone, new friends or old at the finish line!

Did hear yesterday that they finally released all of the trash behind the locks.  That is really a site for sore eyes, radio reported that some do-gooders retrieved 18 car tires and about 50 bags of trash.  Hard to tell how much is still floating or on the bottom.

Really all of downtown is a mess right now with the construction and everything else going on.

As of 7 am this morning-75.8 F

Now...where the lock and dam measured that I dont know.

USAT measurements seem to be lower than posted at every race I go to. I'm pretty  sure the officials pick the deepest most shaded area they can, Thankfully.

Heading over the mountains in the morning. Hope everyone has a great, safe, and fun race. I'll be the slow guy in a Hawaiian shirt. Please say something nice when you pass me.

When I got over there this morning I did not have high hopes as I approached transition.  I have to give it to them as I really thought this was going to be a clustered mess but was very surprised at how everything went off and people seemed to be keeping out of one anothers way.  They put on the first tri I ever attended and they definitely know how to run an event.  Great job HFP!

Thought this was a great race, and I really enjoyed all the people I got to meet and talk to this morning. I was impressed by the ability to have seven different race formats with 400+ competitors all running at the same time. Very well done.

I do have to take Morgantown to task on one thing, though: the distinct lack of cowbell.

I really "enjoyed" the 1.8 mile climb on last year's course. Any way we could arrange another landslide this year?
