And for those interested in the results, here are my MAF (Max Aerobic Function) tests from the last 8 or so months. What these are are a 3 mile warm up followed by 5 miles at 155 beats per minute average. As you can see in November of 2010 I ran at a pace of 7:58 for the 5 miles. However in May of 2011 I did it again at a pace of 7 minutes flat per mile at the same heart rate.

Got the book the day Amazon put it on sale and have read the whole thing...actually his other book, In Fitness and in Health, got me on the right path with my eating along the way as well!!! Am a huge fan of all his stuff and visit his site daily!
